Amazon wont let me place order

Although Amazon reaches out especially to small businesses by inviting them to become sellers on the Amazon platform, your role as business-consumer at times might not seem so inviting. For example, there are restrictions applying to all shoppers -- business or personal shoppers -- that could prevent you from ordering something on Amazon. Additionally, there's at least one reason why Amazon restricts a business specifically from purchasing an Amazon product.

Basics to Consider

  1. There are, of course, some basic things to consider that you might have overlooked. If the issue you're experiencing is that you can't add anything to your Amazon shopping cart, or that your shopping cart is now empty when previously you added items to it, then it could be that you're not signed in to your Amazon account. Additionally, simple matters like entering incorrect payment information, attempting to use an Amazon gift card with insufficient funds or an expired debit or credit card will also be a sudden roadblock to Amazon purchasing.

Amazon Payments

  1. If you are signed up for Amazon Payments -- which is basically Amazon's version of PayPal or Google Wallet designed exclusively for Amazon purchases -- then there are some restrictions that will prevent you from ordering certain items. Amazon notes that you can't use Amazon Payments to purchase digital media, subscriptions, Amazon Prime products, gift cards or any item sold by a third-party seller on Amazon Marketplace. To order any of these items, your best bet is to use a personal or company credit card.

Bank Accounts

  1. While the aforementioned obstacles apply to personal or business shoppers, one difficulty that businesses in particular could face is when trying to purchase something with a business checking account. Amazon accepts all U.S.-based checking accounts, except for corporate or business bank accounts. Furthermore, Amazon doesn't accept savings accounts as a payment option. Once again, the most sure-fire way to purchase freely on Amazon is with a business credit card or with an Amazon gift card that has sufficient funds on it.

Shopper Bans

  1. Sometimes, though, it doesn't matter how attentive you are or what payment method you choose -- Amazon could ban you as a buyer if the company concludes that your behavior warrants it. For instance, consumer watchdog website Consumerist.com reported in 2009 that Amazon banned a buyer for making what the company viewed as too many product returns. However, regardless of what reason Amazon might have to ban a shopper, it likely won't be because of poor ratings received from Amazon sellers, according to the book "Amazon Top Seller Secrets."

Call customer service to see if they can help. With the loading problem it is unlikely the case, but some things can not ship to certain addresses and have restrictions on the type of payment methods that can be used. Customer service can help you troubleshoot if that is the problem, or let you know if there is a known issue goig on. Try clearing your browser history your app data and cache or usimg a different browser all together, most of the time when it is a loading or a progression issue with the website this fixes the problem. Restart your phone or device too. Good luck!

Hello,

I’m facing very strange issue with my Amazon account, here are the steps (for your detailed understanding of it):
1. Selected product – Checked out – then going to Select Payment Method
2. After selecting payment method and entering details (amasonPayBalance/debticard/creditcard/netbanking/any) and clicking ‘Continue’ to confirm and Pay – But its redirecting to same “select payment method” page again and again.

This has been happening since 2 weeks but my brother/wife or other amazon account working fine and able to order products.

1 Q) Is anyone faced this issue ?
2 Q) How to resolve this issue ? or any problem with my account or is there any block – can AZ restrict this way too ? (its just normal account hardly order on an average 1 product for a month)
3 Q) Please help to resolve this as my APAY BALANCE stuck in the account and wanted to use it.

Why isn't my Amazon working?

If your Amazon app is not working, the first thing you should try is restarting the app. To do this, simply close the app and then reopen it. You can do so by double-pressing the “Home button” (on iOS devices) or the “Recents button” (on Android devices) and then swiping up on the Amazon app. Then restart it.
