Sitting arrangement allows privacy during low traffic time.

There were plenty of empty tables but we had to wait for about 15 minutes to be seated, which could be due to shortage of staff but should not be the case.

Overall, the food, especially seafood, is not as tasty as I expected. Although the Bar Harbor Lobster Bake was quite flavorful, the Ultimate Feast and Fish and Chips were a disappointment. Most items on our order were too dry that butter could not help.

The soft drink lemonade (refillable) was much better than other places. However, the handcrafted strawberry lemonade tasted as though it contained bottled lemon juice instead of fresh lemon juice.

Biscuits were not to our likings - dry, hence crumbly.

Seafood including fish and shellfishes, like lobsters, are an important source of omega-3- fatty acids. Just about 3oz of lobsters is enough for providing 200-500 mg of omega-3-fatty acids. Moreover, lobsters are a great source of protein and give you more eye-sight and more power to your brain.

Baking lobster properly is a great task but not with the following recipe. Before coming to the instructions and ingredients don’t forget to get your lobsters fully defrosted.

Ingredients

  • 3 Baby lobster tails
  • 1.5 clove of garlic (minced properly)

For Marinating

  • 1.5 tsp Some Light Butter Substituent
  • 1.5 tsp Lemon juice ( you can also add 1.5 tsp of shredded orange peel instead of lemon for flavor)
  • Paprika ( as per need)
  • White Pepper ( as per need)
  • Garlic powder ( as per need)
  • Salt ( as per need)

How to make Bar Harbor Lobster Bake Recipe

First, preheat your oven to a temperature of around 450 degrees of Fahrenheit.

Preparation for Marinade

To prepare the marinade, melt the butter substitute properly in an oven pan for 30-35 seconds.

Add in it lemon juice and mix it well.

Now add paprika, white pepper, garlic powder, and salt to taste  (be careful with salt as lobsters are already salty). Place it aside.

Cutting and Cleaning of Lobsters

Now take one defrosted lobster in your hand and cut down the one side of the underside of the lobster tail closer to the shell as you can so that no extra piece is wasted. Then, cut down the other side, in the same manner, using your sharp kitchen shears. Do not cut the tail fins off, and just join the two cuts on the underside.

Then remove the bellies and legs of lobsters and discard them.

Pull the meat down from the upper shell of the lobster and put the meat back into the shell.

Repeat the same process with the other two lobsters.

Preparation Before Placing it in the oven

Now place each lobster tail on aluminum foil and add minced garlic onto each side of lobster meat and a spoonful of marinating material on each lobster tail. Now seal the lobster tails completely into the aluminum paper.

Place the tails on the baking sheet and let it bake for about 20-22 minutes.

When the lobster is cooked well, unwrap the tails and serve it in a most appetizing way.
