Toreador: tanks up to 6 missiles (with 100% arbor upgrade), can fire unlimited hyper homing missiles (albeit with lower lock on range), quick recharge boost, can go under water, can be stored in the Kosatka, can access the Kosatka's SONAR, can be used during heists including Apartment and DDH, and holds up to 4 people.

Armored Kuruma - complete protection from bullets; dies to 1 rocket

Paragon R (Armored), Cognoscenti, Cognoscenti 55, Schafter LWB, Schafter V12, Baller LE, Baller LEE LWB, XLS, Turreted Limo - on all of them windows can take a few bullet shots before breaking; car can survive 1 rocket before dying to the 2nd one.

ZR380 - bulletproof from front and back, but side windows offer no protection; can take 3 rockets, 4th one kills it. Probably your best bet.

get you a weaponized tampa.

dual 50 cal minigun turrets? check. forward-facing homing rockets? check. rear mounted close range mortar? check. deployable mines? check. heavy armour? check.

its great for most business missions.

all of this great stuff does require a lot of time in that it comes from bunker reseach. They are absolutely worth it..

For day to day use run a nightshark or an insurgent. Personally I don't drive armored cars very often but a fully upgraded Insurgent pickup can survive a full barrage of mk2 missile and be functional. Plus it has mines and you can have a gunner and use personal guns. I also have a nightshark with no window plating because I'm not an asshole who runs around killing people in a nightshark. I keep the ates off so I can still use stickies and flares. Good for surviving a lobby. If it's a mk2 and you are in the city, use bridges and tunnels to coax them under and use a mine or sticky to kill them. Works with deluxos too. If you have a jet or a chopper after you, just hit alleys and tunnels to try and shake them. If you are in the county this is all gonna be a lot harder however, there are tunnels over at the hippie camp outside sandy shores, leading from paleto to grapeseed, and two train tunnels going across the canyon to the lumberyard by Paleto. Otherwise good luck.

So I’m currently using the Nightshark fully armored which is great. The only downside is the ability to be shot through the windows. I’ve been one shotted before while driving past someone. Is there any vehicle that has good resistance to explosions and bullets?

Half track has the same armor plus the big turret and the windshield is completely bulletproof as far as I know. Slow as balls though. The MOC cab disconnected from the trailer I think takes more missiles and if you reverse into people they can’t shoot you from the back, and I think the windows take a couple bullets before breaking as well

Ohhh time to look at the half track and experiment with it. I have the MOC and will play with the cab as well. Do you know if the Arena Wars workshop has any special upgrades for the Nighshark or similar vehicles like the Menacer? Or is it just the same upgrades as found in the MOC?

Ah well, you have to choose between one or another. Either bulletproof Armored Kuruma or explosion-proof Nightshark (or MOC cab which is even better). However, Half-Track has decent armor and it's front windows are bulletproof for some reason (the side windows are not though). Might be worth considering.

Thank you! I may see if any of my friends have the half truck and fuck around with it. I had the Karuma for a long time, but got tired of being blown up. My Nightshark is great when dealing with griefers on Oppressors and Deluxos, and that’s the largest problem I run into. But there are the few who get big mad when I don’t blow up and start shooting through the windows and kill me.

Armor piercing rounds will shred through any windows regardless, so be mindful of that. Any griefer or agro player who knows what they are doing will probably be using this (if not just straight up trying to blow you up).

I just jumped in to play on my lunch break and got griefed and they wouldn’t stop. I wasn’t able to do the setup for mini heist, could barely drive a mile without 15 rockets being shot into me. So that was a ton of fun. I don’t get what’s wrong with those people.
