Cosrx oil free ultra moisturizing lotion Reddit

I recently ordered the Cosrx Oil-Free Ultra Moisturizing Lotion via amazon but what I received was a lotion with a different label information (I attached an image of two COSRX lotion's side by side at the bottom of the text. The lotion on the right is what I received from amazon, the one on the left is one I have been using). Just reading the brief description on the front of the lotion made me question if it was authentic or not. So I contacted the seller about this and they told me there were some minor changes to the packaging of the product and that they only order from an authentic source. However, some amazon reviewers of the product has claimed it is "fake." Is anyone able to confirm if this is a fake product?

I have contacted COSRX via email about this case but they can't confirm whether or not it's authentic if it is not coming from an authorized seller. However, they did confirm that there has been minor changes to the packaging so I am left uncertain.

I just recently purchased the CosRX oil free ultra moisturizing lotion for my acne prone/ dehydrated oily skin. I suffer from CC’s and I wanted to know if this would help me or hurt me.

I noticed it has cetearyl alcohol in it and I heard that breaks some people out.

My skin is getting better slowly I just need a moisturizer for winter since I’m dehydrated. I also bought the snail 96 essence.

I currently use Sebamed clear gel and loveeee it. I just feel like it isn’t moisturizing enough for me. I would like to mix it with something or switch to the CosRX one if it doesn’t break me out.

Also, I’m new to patch testing. Do you recommend this? Thanks!

Hello, I've been debating between the Cosrx oil-free ultra-moiturizing lotion and the adnvanced snail 92 all in one cream for my new moisturizer. I have oily skin and i live in a humid country (Southeast Asia).

I've been using the Clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel and i'm looking for a replacement simply because the clinique moisturizer is a bit more expensive for a college student like me. I'm a dude, if that matters in any way.

My routine at the moment is; AM:

• Cosrx low ph good morning cleanser

• Klair's freshly juiced vitamin drop

• Klair's supple preparation toner

• Clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel

• Innisfree oil-free sunscreen

PM

• Cosrx low ph good morning cleanser

• Cosrx advanced snail 96 mucin power essence

• Klair's supple preparation toner

• Clinique dramatically different moisturizing gel

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Has the cosrx ultra moisturizing oil free lotion with birch sap been discontinued?

I can’t find it on the cosrx website anymore, and there’s no way I’m buying from Bezos.

If so, any recs for a nice, light weight lotion that’s similar?

I have been using it for a few days and I like it! It dries pretty matte and the scent makes me think of lemon pie for some reason.So far, no new pimples, so I guess and hope that my skin loves it! I also love the beautiful bottle which is even prettier with stickers. Plus, it's 100ml! It's gonna last way longer than the other 50 ml creams and it's a pump bottle which is awesome! If this works out, I just might keep buying this because the amount of product for the price and effectiveness is awesome. Skin type is oily/combo and acne prone Btw :)

I've been using this lotion for several years. It doesn't break my face out, which is pretty much the most important criteria for me personally. It does a pretty good job at moisturizing. There are still a couple of areas of my face that get flakey even though the rest of my face does well with this lotion. I'd say my skin type is combination. I just made the switch from this lotion to the CosRX Propolis Light Cream.

Oh, there was a post about how this product may have been reformulated from a couple of weeks ago! It seems like it's mostly related to the smell of the product and not the performance, but just something to keep in mind.

I also get slight redness when I use it, not always but sometimes. Thank god I'm not the only one.

I don't think I will ever blind buy another Cosrx product again. I'll try it out if I see it in stores and they have a tester. Good review.

I've got a slightly oilier T-zone and using two pumps all over my face leaves my t-zone slightly oily in the morning! (I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen) One pump gives my face a slight glow in the morning, though!

i can only use pump. two pumps are just too much for me too.

I use this as well and I sometimes put a two or three drops of the CosRX Propolis Light Ampoule. I haven't developed any redness from this product at all. Maybe because my skin isn't particularly sensitive? Idk. YMMV, I guess.

it was only red when i first put it on my skin. subsequent use, no redness.

I have used this product and i also really liked it because it was so hydrating but since my skin type is dry/combination so i have to use 3-5 pump to really feel like my skin had enough moisture. I think it would definitely perfect for summer though.

Is this enough as the last step of routine? Or you need another moisturizer or sleeping mask?

yes, it is a moisturiser for oil skin. I use it as day moisturiser which the texture is just okay for me. You don't need sleeping mask unless it is for night and if you have dry skin.
