The announcement was made on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022, through the ongoing light novel series and shared on the official Japanese website. However, not many fans will have been too surprised by the news. Prior to the announcement, the future of I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years appeared as bright and positive as the series’ character. Anime renewals typically depend on two factors, popularity and source material – thankfully, this show has plenty of both.
