Rit or Rizlet of Loggervia is one of the main characters in Banished from the Hero's Party series.

Background[]

A retired B-rank Adventurer from the nearby settlement of Zoltan. Rit is a long-time associate of Gideon. Upon hearing about Red from the adventure's guild, she wonders whether it's actually Gideon and visits the newly opened pharmacy. She ends up living there and helping out. However, when the adventurers starting to bother Red to recruit Rit back to into adventuring, Rit told them she has a lifetime contract working with Red in his Apothocary.

Rit is a young girl with long blond hair and blue eyes. She wears a white and red short dress and long stockings.

Personality[]

Rit is a very happy-going person, who is deeply in love with Red. Her personality has changed over the past few years, before she was a pretty assertive and angry-natured girl but after falling in love with Red, she became peaceful and more considerate.

Red (レッド, Reddo), also known as Gideon Ragnason, is the male protagonist of the Banished from the Hero's Party series. He is a D-Rank adventurer from the nearby settlement of Zoltan who makes a living gathering and selling herbs in the hopes of one day making enough to open his own shop and living a quiet life. He is blessed with the "Sign of the Guide" which allows him to summon and lead heroes on their journey, he was once a member of a very famous party.

Background[]

Gideon was born with the Sign of the Guide, granting him a level over 30, something most knights had to work their whole lives to reach. He became a leading member of the Hero's party who used his unique ability to guide the other knights. However, since his special ability only allows him to guide people, he couldn't use any powerful magics or advanced martial arts like the others in the party could with their special abilities. One day, when the others finally caught up to his level, Ares Srowa called him out for not being a "true companion" and kicked him out of the Hero's party. After these events, Gideon decides to change his name to 'Red' and live a normal life and open a shop on the frontier. He is the co-owner of Red and Rit's Apothecary.

Appearance[]

Red has dark hair with dark blue eyes. He wears a cloak, a single long red glove, a white shirt with blue pants, and brown boots. He is also seen carrying a copper sword that Ares gave to him as a replacement for his original sword when he left the hero's party. He has a small bag tucked to his waist with a brown belt in which he stores the herbs that he gathered whenever he goes to the mountains.

Personality[]

Red is the kind of person who's willing to help others in need but isn't really into violence and wants to live a peaceful life, although Red does lack confidence in himself and always feels like he was a burden to his team. He is willing to swallow his pride for the greater good. He is also prepared to risk his life for the sake of other people, such as when he picked up herbs during a wildfire in order to make medicine for his sick friend. Contrary to Rit, he is feminine in personality.

SKILLS:

• Survival Skill: which means he can't get lost.
• Sense Skill: though it is nothing compared to a Hunter or a Thief.
• Cooking Skills: but it is not as well as someone with a Chef's Blessing.
• Repair: but it becomes redundant once a mage learns the spell for it.

MASTERED SKILL:

• Swift Mastery; Lightning Speed: increased Red’s movement speed by ten times such that when sprinting, Red’s opponents would only be able to see a vague shadow of his figure. Red is capable of running 1 km in 15 seconds when I reaching his greatest speed. When converted to speed, it is approximately 240km/h or 150mph. Red would be able to run even faster with the support of magic but that’s Red’s limit when relying on his own strength. That speed is equivalent to the flight speed of an Adult Dragon more than a 100 years old.
• Endurance Mastery; Fatigue Immunity: removed the feeling of tiredness. No matter if he stayed up all night or performed hard labor, Red could run at full strength for the whole day. However, he would still be influenced by everything else apart from fatigue, so it was not like he could spend days on end without sleep as sleep was necessary by nature but the usefulness was undeniable.
• First Aid Mastery; Provisional Divine Doctor: It could show the ways to relieve symptoms even without knowing the root cause of the illness. In other words, instead of treating, it would relieve the pain or stop the bleeding, improve the condition from a critical one and create time until the patient can be properly treated using magic or surgery.
• Acrobatics Skill Mastery; Slow Fall: allows Red to utilize walls within arm’s reach to decelerate. It also reduces the momentum of falling. Though it is inferior to the Fly Skill it is still useful and powerful in its own right.

Weakness: Red's weakness is that he can't use any magic, although Red isn't confident of his ability.

Rit[]

Red's fiancé, He truly loves Rit a lot. The two are very close, though Rit is the more masculine of the two. They met each other during a mission the hero's party had taken in her kingdom. At first, she didn't like the idea of outside help since her kingdom always prevailed alone. However, after they started helping the kingdom, Rit grew close to Red specifically, who taught her that it's not bad to ask for help when you need it. After the incident with the demons in her kingdom was over, Rit stayed behind as the hero and her party left.

Some time later, Rit was on a mission as an adventurer in a small town where she met Gideon (now Red) who was living there for sometime. She met him right after he opened his store. He was really surprised to meet her here but nonetheless was happy that he met an old friend. After they met again, she informed Gideon that they are going to live together from now on as she will also help with his store. They bathe and sleep together. When people offer money to buy Rit from Red, He considers Rit to be priceless and refuses to part with her, at any price.

Ruti[]

She is 'Red's' sister.

He cherishes his memories with his sister when they were young, such as cooking a meal for her or holding hands when they played together as young children. But now, he worries about her smile. Even after he was banished from his party, he hopes his sister and the party members are safe and are fighting the demons well without him.

After reuniting in Zoltan, Gideon was happy to see Ruti again, but informed her that he was not returning to the party because he found a reason to live in Zoltan. Thus Ruti had announced that she's also moving to Zoltan, much to everyone's surprise.

After Ares' betrayal and later death, Ruti quit as the Hero and decided to live at Zoltan with her brother.

Ares Srowa[]

Ares is Red's self-proclaimed rival and enemy who banished him from the Hero's party.

The relationship between Gideon and Ares is tense since Ares hates Gideon and Gideon dislikes Ares. In their final battle, Red killed Ares for his selfish betrayal by cutting off his hands and dealt a fatal strike to his chest with Ruti's sword. Gideon watched silently as Ares bled to death when the latter asked somebody to help him but to no avail and questioned why Gideon always succeeded at everything while Ares failed.

Theodora Dephilo[]

Not much information on the relationship between her and Gideon is provided, but based on statements made, she respects Gideon greatly. She seems to harbor hatred towards Ares, much like the rest of the Heroes party for banishing Gideon. During her discussion with Danan, they mutually agreed that Ares is the one who is responsible for the issues they currently face, as a consequence of banishing Gideon. Although not much information is provided beyond anything said when Gideon was brought up in conversation, she seems to share the opinion with the rest of the party (aside from Ares) that Gideon was never a burden.

Yarandrala[]

A close friend of Red, she wanted him to be happy as she said to Rit. When Red "left" the party, she soon followed left herself as she had lost a very close friend and ally. Due to Ares' stupidity, Yarandrala quits the Hero's Party. He learned from Ruti that Yarandrala quit the Heroes' Party because of Ares. After Ares' death, Red reunited with Yarandrala. When he told Yarandrala he killed Ares due to his betrayal, Yarandrala's love for Red is so strong that she doesn't condemn him of his actions by killing the sociopathic traitor, due to her strongly hatred towards Ares for banishing Red for his foolishness and selfishness.

Red grew up at the side of Ruti, always being there for her, showing her the way, trying to make her feel nice since she was unable to feel because of her Hero Blessing.

BLESSING:

• Divine Blessing: Guide - With this blessing, Red can guide and protect the first leg of the hero's journey. But due to his divine blessing, he eventually became the weakest on the heroes' team. The blessing granted him 30 levels at the time of his blessing manifesting, giving him access to many common skills and high stats but had made leveling up beyond that very difficult. By the time he reached level 46, practically everyone else in the heroes' party had far surpassed him in level. So, he worked to fill missing roles the group had.

Red is also a skilled Swordsman, able to fight toe to toe with powerful foe's, and is capable enough to instantly identify “the best personal course of action” during combat. Red has a unique insight of being a tactician in a battlefield, he uses this insight, not for one-on-one combat situations, but for battles where there are many troops mobilized. Because of his technique and knowledge in alchemy he is able to make a wide variety of potions for the survival of his party. In the story he uses this knowledge to open a shop of his own.
