Welcome on Board is a Story Quest (Main Mission) in Dying Light 2. This walkthrough will guide you through all objectives of the Welcome on Board Story Mission. Region: The Wharf Objectives:
Starting Location: Welcome on BoardReport to the Peacekeepers’ headquartersAfter the events of the prior story quest, you need to head to the Peacekeepers’ headquarters in The Wharf to meet with Jack Matt for more information. You’ll first need to speak with Bart at the entrance to be let in. Report to the dispatcherContinue inside and interact with the Peacekeepers blocking the hallway to continue inside, then speak with Meyer next to the railing on the right. During your conversation with her something might happen depending on prior choices. If you had truthfully told Jack Matt what happened to Aitor, then he will come in with Aitor on an unconscious Aitor, and you will then be able to do the side quest “Aitor“. If you lied to him, then this just won’t happen and the side quest won’t ever be available. Talk to Jack MattHead upstairs and speak with Jack Matt. The choices during the conversation don’t matter, so you can respond how you like. Talk to MeyerHead back downstairs and speak with Meyer again. She fills you in on some more info related to the TV Tower plan, and gives you the UV Flashlight Nightrunner Tool. Gather info about the ordered UV lampsYou now need to obtain more info about the UV lamps required for the TV Tower mission. Follow the objective down to the lower part of the ship and to the marked room to look for Juan. Talk to Juan at the CanteenLawan tells Aiden to look for Juan at the Fish Eye, so head back there to check for him. Head into the bar and up the stairs at the back to find Juan sitting upstairs. He doesn’t feel like dealing with Aiden right now, and nothing you say here convinces him. Talk to LawanHead back out of the bar and over to Lawan’s room, and she’ll suggest looking for something expensive to butter Juan up with. Get to the art collector’s apartmentHead to the marked location to get to the art collector’s apartment. An easy way to get up there is to just fast travel to Metro: Downtown Court, then take the winch up to the top of the building like you did the first time you entered this area. You can then jump off the roof and Paraglide over to get there much quicker. Find valuables for Juan in the apartmentYou now need to search around the apartment for any items that Juan might like. Using Survivor Sense you can spot some areas marked with magnifying glasses around the apartment you can search. To the left of the piano on the counter, you can grab a tape while you’re here. Tape – Be Fruitful and Multiply Climb up to the second floor where you can find a couple notes to inspect that give more information on where all the valuables have gone. Inspect the phone in the far room to find out the location of all of the paintings. Search the roofThe valuables were apparently all taken to the rooftop. You can get there quickly by picking the lock on the nearby metal door, which leads to a ladder directly to the roof. Head over to the corner of the rooftop where you can find the remains of the art and the art collector. Take the liquorAfter talking with Lawan, she suggests grabbing the bottles of Liquor that did survive on the rooftop. Attend Danior’s party (optional)If you wish, you can first go to Danior’s party at the Fish Eye. This is entirely optional but needs to be done before going back to Juan at the PK Floating Fortress if you want to do it. Talk to Danior at the party, then go over and speak with Lawan. Your dialogue options here don’t matter, it’s up to you what you pick. If you don’t agree to the game then Lawan will just leave immediately. If you do agree to the game then the choices you pick don’t really matter, you always end up asking too much which makes Lawan angry, also resulting in her leaving. You’ll then need to speak with Danior before leaving to complete the objective. Talk to Juan againWhen you’re ready to continue, head back to the Floating Fortress. Head all the way back to the lower area to find Juan in his room this time. The first dialogue options don’t matter, the very important choice is the timed dialogue choice at the end. If you choose “I can help you” you will agree to go along with Juan’s plan, and will result in you now playing the story quest “Cathedral”. If you choose “I’ll stick with Matt” you will not agree to go along with Juan’s plan, and will result in you now playing the story quest “The Lost Sight”.
