How much does a Kia Stinger fully loaded cost?

Kia technically isn’t a luxury brand, but models like the Stinger show that the automaker has plenty of premium potential. This car’s interior is more upscale than other small sedans, and it’s surprisingly roomy. The Stinger offers two great engines and a ride quality that remains comfortable despite its sportiness. The GT-Line is the base model, making it the more affordable of the two trims. But how much does a fully loaded 2023 Kia Stinger GT-Line cost?

The standard 2023 Kia Stinger starts at $36,590. The GT-Line packs a turbo-four engine capable of 300 hp and 311 lb-ft of torque, according to Kia. It’s paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, riding on 18-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the Kia Stinger GT-Line has heated leather front seats with 12-way adjustability for the driver’s seat. Every Stinger also includes smartphone integration, navigation, and wireless device charging.

Plenty of advanced safety features are included, such as lane-keeping technology and forward-collision warning. The GT-Line even includes some features usually reserved for higher trims, such as blind-spot and driver attention monitors. It also has an electronic parking brake.

In addition to standard exterior colors, the 2023 Kia Stinger offers three premium paint colors: Snow White Pearl, HiChroma Red, and Ceramic Silver. Kia says each costs an extra $495 on any trim. Adding red leather seat trim is $295 extra.

Wheel locks and mud guards are also available, along with appliques for the door sills and the GT-Line’s rear bumper. And paint protection package is available for $200. In addition, you can spruce up the cargo area with a mat, a storage tray, and a net for $290.

All-wheel drive is an extra $2,200 and includes a heated steering wheel. And an optional auto-dimming rearview mirror equipped with HomeLink costs $350.

The Sun and Sound package comes with a sunroof and power adjustability for the front passenger seat. It also includes a 15-speaker Harmon Kardon sound system. The bundle costs $2,300.

Getting those features also grants you access to the Apex Special Edition package, which costs an additional $1,000. Its biggest appeal is the Brembo brakes, but you also get some interior carbon-fiber trim and black exterior accents.

Then there’s the destination charge, which Kia lists as $1,105. With that fee and every option, a fully loaded Kia Stinger GT-Line costs $45,605.

How does the GT-Line compare to the GT2?

A fully loaded 2023 Kia Stinger GT-Line is still cheaper than the range-topping Kia Stinger GT2, which starts at $51,790. The latter packs an upgraded V6 engine, producing 368 hp and 376 lb-ft of torque. It also comes with the same eight-speed transmission, though this one has paddle shifters.

Brembo brakes, 19-inch wheels, and an electronically controlled suspension are standard. And LED projector headlights replace the GT-Line’s multi-reflector units. In addition, GT2 models with AWD get torque-vectored steering.

The 2023 Kia Stinger GT2 also comes with a sunroof and heated and ventilated seating. Higher-quality Nappa leather covers the seats.

The driver’s seat gains even more adjustability settings, along with memory functions. A few extra bits of safety technology are also included, such as a head-up display and a surround-view parking camera. The upgraded audio system in the GT-Line’s Sun and Sound Package also comes standard in the GT2.

Though this trim has many of the GT-Line’s optional features, the GT2 isn’t necessarily a better value. With every option added, it costs over $57,000. Considering all of its enticing available features and powerful base engine, the fully loaded GT-Line is a worthy compromise.
