How to breed igglybuff pokémon sword

Igglybuff is one of the few Baby Pokémon that you won’t need to put much effort into catching in Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Isle of Armor expansion, at least in comparison to others like Munchlax.

That’s because unlike several other Pokémon in the same category, you won’t need to breed its evolutionary line with a special Incense.

All you need to do to get an Igglybuff is obtain either a Jigglypuff or Wigglytuff, which can be done relatively easily, especially since the entire line of Fairy-type Pokémon can be obtained without traveling to the Isle of Armor if you have Pokémon Home.

All you need to do is either catch or transfer a Jigglypuff and breed it at one of the Daycare Centers. You can also use Wigglytuff for this if you have one or have access to a Moon Stone. You can just breed either of the Balloon Pokémon with a Ditto—it doesn’t really matter in this instance.

The egg you receive from the Daycare will hatch into an Igglybuff regardless of the item being held by its parents. This makes it one of the easier Baby Pokémon to obtain as long as you can get access to one of its evolutions.

You have to breed a Jigglypuff/Wigglytuff with a Ditto or a male Pokemon in the Fairy Egg Group. There is no incense needed here. Also, in HGSS, you can get one in the Amity Meadow Pokewalker course and in DPP, in the Trophy Garden (Rare %5), after Mr. Backlot makes his butler add it to the garden (talk to him, also there won't be a 100% chance of him adding it) . In Platinum, it will be encountered at level 22, and in Diamond/Pearl, 16-18. On any given day, the "planted" Pokémon (Igglybuff) that was in the Trophy Garden the previous time Mr. Backlot was last spoken with will also still be there, allowing a two-day window to catch each of these Pokémon.

Hope I helped! :)

Igglybuff, Jigglypuff’s pre-evolution, is a rarer find in Pokemon Sword & Shield than its evolution: here's how to find one in The Isle of Armor DLC.

Who doesn’t remember Jigglypuff from the original Pokémon anime? A little pink Pokémon, just trying to make it out there with a song and a sharpie. Well, here’s the funny thing; Igglybuff, Jigglypuff’s pre-evolution, is actually a rarer find in Galar than its iconic counterpart.

If you’re looking to complete your Pokédex, here’s how to find Igglybuff in Isle of Armor, Pokémon Sword and Shield’s newest DLC.

How To Find Igglybuff

Players have a 16% chance of encountering Igglybuff in the Fields of Honor during normal weather. However, players who don’t feel like running around and hoping for a good encounter can simply catch a Jigglypuff or Wigglytuff and breed them. Any egg resulting from the union will hatch into an Igglybuff, which is an easy and surefire way to acquire the Pokémon, especially if you’ve moved backward through the evolutionary line and have already gotten your hands on a pair of Jigglypuffs or a Wigglytuff.

How To Evolve Igglybuff into Jigglypuff, Wigglytuff

Jigglypuff_Pokemon_Anime

Igglybuff, like several other Pokémon in the series, evolves after reaching a high friendship level, which is a secret stat that can be checked by telling a Pokémon to “Speak” in camp or by visiting an NPC in Hammerlocke. The NPCs are located in a house near the central Pokémon Center, and talking to the young boy of the bunch will give you an estimate of what level of friendship you have with your Pokémon.

Getting Igglybuff to a high friendship level will take some doing, but if you just don’t have time to do it the hard way, Jigglypuff can be found in the Fields of Honor and on Challenge Beach in all weather.

Evolving Jigglypuff to Wigglytuff is much less involved; simply grab a Moon Stone and hand it over! Wigglytuff can also be found in the Fields of Honor, Challenge Beach, Forest of Focus, and Soothing Wetlands as a static encounter during foggy weather.

How To Use Wigglytuff

Wigglytuff, being a Normal and Fairy-type Pokémon, has access to a wide spread of abilities. A good strategy is to use Wigglytuff as a leading Pokemon and have it set up Stealth Rock, as well as use Reflect and Light Screen to lower the opponent’s attack and raise Wigglypuff’s Special Defense. This will keep Wigglytuff on the field long enough for Stealth Rock to do its job, and for the more damage-heavy members of your team to clean up what’s left!
