re: Connecting to wifi

It's not Wi-Fi, it's wireless. Basically it's a game link cable without the cable.
The range is something like 10 meters. It was designed so a group of people could stand close together, then when they connect they can trade or play the minigames together.

re: Connecting to wifi

quote The Masterman

That may be, but my friend and I were trying to download the tickets to Deoxys and Lugia and Ho-oh. Instead of that, would an action replay work maybe?

It should. I just restarted my game, so I haven't tried yet. My Gameshark has preprogrammed codes for this game that allow buying the tickets. Use the modshop, then add key items (pt 1 & 2), then buy the tickets from the shop. Keep in mind that this game has a v1.0 and a v1.1, so you need the correct version. Also, the codes for the mod shop are rather long.
This website is bogged down with ads and stuff, but look for the Mod Shop section: http://www.supercheats.com/gameboyadvance/pokemonfireredcodes.htm

You need the master code, access mod shop (Hold A+L+Select, you have to unassign your bike or whatever is designated to the select button), and key items part 1 and part 2.
Let me know if it works.
