Driving in Puerto Rico is actually pretty easy, especially if you are coming from elsewhere in the USA. You will find major rental car companies in Isla Verde, where you can get a rental car for your trip with a driver’s license, compulsory liability coverage, and collision damage insurance. You can catch an AMA in the designated bus stations, and you have to pay 75 cents per one-way trip in coins or with or with a card you can get at any train station. Tren Urbano🚃 Best for: Saving money, saving time, and avoiding traffic The urban train is a light rail system that provides a quick way to move between San Juan, Guaynabo, and Bayamon from 6:00 am to 11:20 pm. The round trip between San Juan and Cataño is only $1 and the roundtrip from Ceiba to any of the municipal islands is from $4 to $4.50.
