A simple Minecraft bunk bed with trapdoors and wooden planks as the frame. Features a rather compact design, which allows it to fit in relatively small rooms.
Step 1:
Place a bed and two wooden planks, followed by two ladders on the planks
as shown below.
Step 2:
Next, insert two trapdoors on the top half of the upper wooden plank to form the base for the second bed. Don’t forget to Shift+Click when placing the second trapdoor!
Step 3:
Standing near the edge of the bed, put three trapdoors on top of each other while holding Shift. After you’re done, flip up the three freshly placed trapdoors.
Step 4:
Then, place the stairs on the wooden planks and Shift+Click to put the second bed on the trapdoors.
Variations:
- Feel free to experiment with different types of wood and bed colors to see which suits you best.
- For a 4-person bunk bed, just mirror the design on the other side of the ladders and planks. Double the capacity, double the fun!
- Check out the bunk bed with decorations design for a similar design, but with decorative features.
