I'm kinda interested in zombie manga after reading Infection and Zombie 100 (I highly recommend the latter), but I know the author died before giving a proper conclusion. So I wanted to know if it's still worth reading because it's only 7 volumes long?

No, got for Triage-X! Same artist drawing it, and it will have an end. Story wise, it’s got a lot of similarities, even though it doesn’t use zombies. It starts out a bit weak, but the story develops in an interesting way :) Sagari Sensei ftw!!!!!

I do still think it's worth reading, especially if you like B-action zombie movies. The story is just a love letter to those, with gratuitous violence and fanservice. If you enjoy things like Dawn of the Dead's mall comedy action parts, the series is still enjoyable.

Yes it is, because it was much better than Infection for me, if only for The Nerd and Saeko.

It is very rare for me to give a 10/10 to any movie or game, but Highschool of the Dead defiantly deserves the 10/10 because it's one of the top best anime I have ever seen, and I'm not just saying that because I like it, and it is better than all the other teen high school anime like Gantz, Persona, and NGE.
