Since there is a ton of new players I decided to throw together a small guide to the different fighting styles Show 1 Sword Style aka 1ss: this fighting style can be found on Roca Island and cost 10,000 Peli and requires a 1ss compatible sword. The Different swords you can get effect your damage. The easiest sword to get can be found on Roca Island for 999 Peli. All moves you can learn with 1ss gain more damage the more sword mastery you get. This fighting style is usable for grinding though not the best It starts out better than the others but quickly gets outclassed by other fighting styles. overall I'd give 1ss a 6.5/10 Black Leg aka BL: this fighting style can be found on restaurant Baratie and costs 9,000 Peli and has no prerequisites. All moves you can learn with BL gain more damage the more strength you have but require BL mastery in order to unlock moves. This fighting style is very good for grinding The only downside is very early game your damage will be slightly lower than 1ss but quickly outclasses it. overall I'd give BL a 9/10 Rokushiki aka Roku: this fighting style can be found on mysterious cliff and costs 10,000 Peli and has no prerequisites. All moves you can learn with Roku gain more damage the more strength you have but require Roku mastery in order to unlock moves. This fighting style is terrible for grinding and is only good if you have a good fruit because most of its moves are supports and the damaging ones are very weak. overall I'd give it a 3/10 though 9/10 if you have another source of damage Fishman Karate aka Fishman: this fighting style can be found on fishman island and costs 30,000 Peli, 75 shark teeth and requires you have fishman race. m1's and the first move gain more damage the more strength you have while all other moves gain more damage the more Fishman mastery you have. This fighting style is one of the best styles for grinding but requires a lot of Peli and the fishman race. overall I'd give Fishman a 9.5/10 Electro aka mink combat: this fighting style can be found on Zou Island and cost 15,000 Peli, 25 carrots and requires mink race. m1's gain more damage the more strength you have while all other moves gain more damage the more Electro mastery you have. This fighting style is really bad overall though works for grinding. overall I'd give Electro a 3/10 Demon step aka Diable Jambe: this fighting style can be found on Coco Island and cost 50,000 Peli, scorched heart and requires 125 Black leg mastery. All moves you can learn with Demon step except the z move gain more damage the more strength you have the z move gains more damage the more BL mastery you have. This fighting style is a temporary form you gain while using black leg meaning all pros of black leg remain while also adding several more useful tools. overall I'd give Demon step a 10/10 2 sword style aka 2ss: this fighting style can be purchased at Sashi island for 10,000 Peli and requires all 1ss moves unlocked. this fighting styles unlock method is unique in that every time you buy a move you must fight a boss that gets harder with each new move you unlock. All moves you can learn with 2ss gain more damage the more sword mastery you get. This fighting style is usable for grinding though not the best. this fighting style is one of the best for pvp. overall I'd give 2ss 7.5/10 thought I'd give it a 9/10 for pvp please tell me if I missed anything. tldr: if your main goal is grinding use black leg if you have fisman race you can use fishman karate instead. edit: here is a link to the fighting style page of the wiki so you can look at each fighting style more closely https://grand-piece-online.fandom.com/wiki/Fighting_Styles?so=search

Although, without a Fighting Style to go with them, their attacks are ineffective and relatively pointless. Therefore, to maximize your chances of survival in combat, you will need to learn one, such as One Sword Style. To master One Sword Style, you will first need to travel to Roca Island, which is directly east of Shells Town. Once there, you will need to visit Jaggy, a tradesperson who will teach you the ways of One Sword Style for a fair price of 10,000 Peli.
Once the style has been bolted to your avatar, you will be able to use swift attacks with single-handed swords. To learn new moves, you can pay an additional sum of Peli, which will net you a selection of new Skills. Of course, it is worth taking into account that only one Fighting Style can be equipped at a time. So, while One Sword Style is active, you will not be able to switch to any other style when in combat.
