Living in Schaumburg is a blessing, I live in a safe neighborhood which was not always the case growing up. I can trust my neighbors and know that if I am out of town, I won’t need to worry about a break-in. The crime rate is lower, which gives lets me sleep at night. Schaumburg offers so many fun and creative activities that can be done for couples, and families. I know every weekend I can drive up or down the street and find something to do with a friend or partner. I know deep down that if I wanted to start a family, Schaumburg would be where I raise my children. Its really nice to have woods for walking near us, as well as a mall down the street- talk about diversity!

Start Your Review of Schaumburg

I have lived in Schaumburg my whole life (currently 17 years old) and I have nothing negative to say about this place. I have never felt unsafe, my education is very good, there’s so much access to anything you may need (grocery stores, clothing/shoes, home department stores...) AND Chicago is about 45 minutes away which I wish was closer, but I can’t complain. Most everyone is friendly and nice! This is a perfect place to raise a family if you’re looking for a safe, stable environment.

The library is wonderful, lakes are beautiful and overall safe town. Lots of places to shop and many within walking distances from coffee shops and small stores. Woodfield mall is huge with over three floors. Filled with many different stores, you will find what you are looking for. Try to avoid during holiday shopping because the mall is always overpacked and parking is always a hastle.
