The latest of those spin-offs is Power Book IV: Force, which continues the story of Tommy Egan as he puts his time in New York behind him, hoping to forge a new drug empire in the city of Chicago. Towards the end of episode 8, Tommy takes an interest in his new recruit D-Mac, following him as he buried a box, eventually learning that D-Mac is the son of JP. And finally, the episode ends with Tommy’s mother Kate answering a phone call that’s apparently from her son. However, the voice on the other end of the phone isn’t Tommy but JP. In its place, Starz broadcast a re-run of Outlander season 6’s fourth episode ahead of episode 5’s release at 9/8c. When episode 9 – titled Trust – does air, fans can expect some huge drama on the way as Tommy deals with the knowledge that D-Mac is JP’s son. Elsewhere, Walter is up to no good as he looks to stir the pot and get Vic to turn against Tommy following Gloria’s death while he also looks to bring in some reinforcements of his own.
