I put in my blank thumb drive, use the backup utility and the PS3 says the backup is complete, I switched out the hard drives, plugged in the thumb drive with the backup on it, turned on the system and it just told me what I posted above. I turned the system on with the thumb drive plugged in first and I also first turned the system on and then plugged in the thumb drive. No difference. I also plugged in the thumb drive to my computer and made sure it's FAT32 and the back up files are in it which they are. Still won't work.
