What is the ‘Other’ category in my phone’s internal storage and how to delete files from it. Show
Galaxy phones come with a large amount of internal storage capacity for you to save your pictures, videos, games, and apps. However, you may be unsure what the ‘other’ storage category is, and how to delete files from it. Read on to find out more. ‘Other’ storage categoryThe ‘Other’ storage category comes from apps you have installed on your smartphone or tablet, that don’t fall in to the other storage categories. It includes items such as system files, cached data and temporary files. Unfortunately, you can't delete these files directly from your device but you can help to clear it by deleting cache or app data. You can clear app data by: 1 Open Settings 2 Tap Battery and device care 3 Tap Storage Please note: if you delete files from an app you often use, the app will run slower. 4 Tap Apps 5 Choose an app and uninstall it as required Please visit Samsung Support for further support.

24-04-2022 06:35 PM in Galaxy S10 Series Have a
look at 1 Tap Cleaner app. I use it every few days to clear out the cache from apps. Clearing the cache won't affect the apps and will free up a fair amount of space. 1 Like Reply CarlH Moderator Options
