Managing to up the ante on what was already one of television's most audacious satires, The Boys' third season is both bracingly visceral and wickedly smart. Critic Ratings: 145 User Ratings: 1984 Season 3

The Boys season 3 really is a masterpiece of political and pop culture satire, but also an enjoyable action-drama in its own right.

Just because Homelander is bad doesn’t necessarily mean that anyone who opposes him is good. And vice-versa.

There are quite a few shockers in this season as well that make us overlook the ambiguity in the writing.
Jul 15, 2022
The Boys remains one of the most clever and entertaining shows that's currently on right now.
Jul 15, 2022
This show is known for toeing the line between being offensive itself and having its villain characters do offensive things… the line is blurry, and they live (and thrive) in that grey area.

The Boys is set out to go where no other superhero series has gone before. It's ready to step on toes, execute jokes and scenes as dark as they are inappropriate, and this third season is the series at its best. [Full review in Spanish]

It is violent, provocative and can be read both as a critique of the milieu to which it belongs and of the American Dream.

I look forward to seeing where this series goes. But this is riveting television that leaves you on the edge of your seat.

Antony Starr is incredible. One of the best TV villains EVER. The cameos, storylines and effects were all top notch. This is definitely the most violent show on TV right now.

If not for that baffling, frankly weird 'The Boys' season 3 finale that did not mark a significant change in the state of affairs from the last season, I would have heartily recommended every fan of the show to binge-watch the entire thing in one go.

The Season 3 finale concluded a characteristically strong season while also raising a long-term question: How can an iconoclastic property continue to deconstruct a genre that it's increasingly a pillar of?
Jul 8, 2022
At this point The Boys is so far superior to the MCU movies, all of whose recent entries have been disappointments except Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, that the comparison seems unfair.
Jul 8, 2022
The Boys is unstoppable at the moment.
Jun 25, 2022
The Boys isn't saying much that's new in its third season, but it continues to bite deeper — and sharper.
Jun 24, 2022
The Boys is definitely not just thinking bigger and louder in season three; the result has been a more thoughtfully crafted, creatively rewarding series, without sacrificing the acerbic, outlandish qualities that earned its reputation on a TV landscape.

You finish each episode with a nasty taste in your mouth, not helped by the fact that so many of the characters are so ghastly you wish they’d all self-explode and put us out of our misery.
Jun 21, 2022
If it is nearly as character-driven and contemplative as this season was, we are in for a hell of a finale.
Jun 21, 2022
Season 3 of The Boys shows it's not running out of superhero serum anytime soon. Instead, it covers even more ground, bulging with gags, topical issues and ludicrous action sequences to create the most potently entertaining, eye-popping cocktail.
Jun 18, 2022
The Boys‘ third season is the most balanced to date and had me hooked from the first episode to the last and will likely have you all hoping the fourth comes sooner than later.
Jun 18, 2022
The Boys is back for a depraved and pointed Season 3 as the superhero series expands its scope and history for a bloodier, more poignant story.
