Los Angeles is the city of stars, and despite what the tour guides selling maps on the Walk of Fame will tell you, they don't all live in Hollywood.

LA is a diverse city full of dozens of unique neighborhoods and areas, and you can find celebrities living (or hiding) in all of them. Here's a look at various neighborhoods in Los Angeles and the famous people who call them home. Celebrities who live in Malibu

Malibu has one of the most expensive ZIP codes in the country, with ultra-posh beachside properties that cost millions of dollars. Located quite a trek outside of Central LA, it's also a quiet, secluded paradise for stars seeking privacy and nature. Cindy Crawford, Courteney Cox, Steven Spielberg and Patrick Dempsey are some of the stars who have made Malibu their home. The region was also the subject of Miley Cyrus's single, "Malibu," and she loves living there so much she's even rebuilding the house she lost in the recent wildfires.

Though she's opted for a posh home in one of the city's most exclusive neighborhoods, the "Big Little Lies" star still adds a little Southern charm to her digs.

As its name implies, Studio City is home to some of the biggest production hubs in the city, like the CBS Radford lot and tons of production companies.
