PHILADELPHIA — Marlington's Bella Graham and Nash Minor recorded top finishes in the 2-mile rising stars races Friday at the New Balance Nationals Track and Field Championships.
Graham finished third in the girls race in 10:59.76. Minor came in ninth in the boys race in 9:31.16.
Marlington's boys distance medley relay team of Noah Graham, Liam Blake, Cohen Boyce and Colin Cernansky finished sixth in 10:12.91. Graham, Blake, Boyce and Cernansky teamed up to win a Division II state championship in the 3,200 relay earlier this month.
GlenOak's Tommy Rice came in 18th in the boys 2-mile in 9:14.36. He won a Division I state title in the event.
Rice, East Canton's Gabe Shilling and Minerva's Connor Shingleton will compete in the boys mile rising stars race Sunday morning.
