Who is June in red white and royal blue?

Catalina June Claremont-Diaz is the daughter of President Ellen Claremont and Senator Oscar Diaz and sister of Alex Claremont-Diaz. She goes by her middle name, June.

She graduated from UT Austin with a Journalism degree, and relocated to Washington, DC after her mother's win of the 2016 Election. She had originally intended on living in California with her father post-college, however realized that she would struggle in Journalism due to her obvious bias towards the Democratic Party.

June is the First Daughter of the United States and part of the White House Trio with her younger brother Alex Claremont-Diaz and Nora Holleran.

Alexander "Alex" Gabriel Claremont-Diaz is the son of President Ellen Claremont and Senator Oscar Diaz.

Alex is the First Son of the United States and part of the White House Trio with his older sister June Claremont-Diaz and Nora Holleran.

In the movie adaptation, he is played by Taylor Zakar Perez.

Biography[]

Early Life[]

Alex was born to Oscar and Ellen. They divorced when Alex was 14 and Ellen met Leo shortly after.

During the divorce and subsequent fighting, Alex threw himself into school. Alex played lacrosse in high school and was co-captain of his team. He was student body president, prom king, and class valedictorian.

Liam was Alex's best friend through high school. That friendship faded into the background when Alex moved to D.C. Alex and Liam used to get off together, though Alex never processed it as abnormally in terms of being straight until his Quarter Life NATO Sexual Crisis.

Alex dated Nora during the campaign trail when Alex was 17 and Nora was 18.

Rivalry With Henry[]

The first time Alex saw Henry was when he was 12. He saw a J-14 magazine with 13-year-old Henry on one of the pages, and soon had a strange fascination with the image.

The rivalry between Alex and Henry began at the 2016 Olympics in Rio. Alex had been excited to finally meet him, but Henry shook his hand with - what to Alex appeared to be - disgust, and told Shaan to "get rid of him."

Not only that, but the media quickly began to compare the two boys. Alex felt as though Americans expected him to live up to Henry's reputation, which is not an easy feat when you're biracial and your mom is the first female president. Some articles went as far as to say that they wished Alex was more like Henry, and that he should change his friends and hobbies in order to be more like the prince.

Both his encounter with Henry in Rio and the media left Alex feeling hurt and stressed. To Alex, Henry was a constant reminder of all the things he was supposed to be but wasn't. So, he decided from then on out to hate Henry. It's even mentioned that Alex actually had a dartboard of Henry's face on his desk. Alex's hostility led to the $75,000 wedding cake toppling over in a heated discussion between the two.

Hiding in a closet from suspected gunfire, Alex and Henry make amends that lead them to a close friendship and eventual relationship. Henry explains that his behavior in Rio was stemmed from his inability to grasp his father's death, and not because of anything Alex did; he also thought Alex didn’t hear what he said. They begin talking and even find out they have some common interests. This conversation led to their friendship and eventual relationship, as it was the first time Alex sees the real Henry.

The Start of Something Amazing[]

Henry kissed Alex on New Year's eve which led to Alex's Quarter Life NATO Sexual Crisis. As with any issue Alex faces, he turned to school to give him something to focus on. He studied political science at Georgetown University. Needless to say, it didn't work this time. Alex and Henry sort out their attraction at the State Dinner in January and their trans-Atlantic clandestine hook-ups begin.

As their banter shifted to dig deeper into issues they've never told anyone else before, they found that their feeling for each other went deeper than the surface.

Alex graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in government. He passed the LSAT with perfectly acceptable scores and was considering a law school in New York close to Henry's youth shelter, potentially NYU, so they could live together. Alex is Henry's official suitor.
