Hello, I'm just wondering if any of you could know what's going on. My s/o has a mini 11 which right now isn't taking any photos. The red light on it was blinking, so naturally we replaced the batteries with fresh ones but even after changing them, it's not working. Could it be anything else? Maybe an issue with the film or something else, we really have no clue. Why does my Instax Mini 11 not work? This would usually be due to low battery power as the majority of power would go into ejecting the film. While there may have been enough power to capture the image, the camera halted while pushing the film through the unit. Replace the batteries with the lens in the open position.
Why is my Instax Mini light flashing? The orange lights flashing on the front of your mini 11 or mini 9 is your cameras way of telling you it is ready for a battery change! We recommend using alkaline batteries and changing them whilst your camera is in the on position.
Why is my instax blinking and not working?Try reinserting the batteries with the lens in the open position which should hopefully reset the issue. Failing this, the camera would require a repair.
