Show Our Take: Another “bullying” show hits the scene. Though this one premiered in Spring 2021, it’s just now getting a dub. It might seem like a while but it’s good news in a way. It shows that now Crunchyroll is willing to go back and dub older shows, this could be because of the recent merger with Funimation. Hopefully, this means other shows get dubs as well that might not have in the past. Now, this show follows in the same vein as Teasing Master Takagi-san and Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out. I don’t really know what the obsession with being bullied is but the other two shows were decent so this one might be okay too. Though one area that separates this one is that it really does feel like bullying, in the first episode at least. Nagatoro even manages to make the main character cry, multiple times! I hope it gets better in that respect cause it starts to feel less fun and more mean. The voice actress for Nagatoro is Kimberley Anne Campbell and she seems relatively new. But she does a great job here and manages to even get the way Nagatoro says “Senpai” from the sub-version down. As for the senpai himself, we get Erik Kimerer. Since I am coming fresh off a rewatch of Toradora I was excited to hear him and think he will do well. It was an okay first episode but I am excited to see if it gets better.
