What happened to Malin in Love Island?

Malin Andersson has shared the sad news that she suffered a miscarriage, two years after the death of her 4-week-old daughter in 2019.

The Love Island star shared an emotional Instagram post over the weekend, writing in the caption that she "found out I was pregnant - and I then soon after miscarried."

Andersson shared that she was opening up about the painful experience with hopes of helping others who have gone through the same.

"Obviously I have disappeared for a bit and I have had hundreds of messages from people asking if I am okay and sending me love. I appreciate every single message and it means a lot that you all want to make sure I am okay," Andersson began her post.

"Sometimes I need to take time to deal with my life privately, as my life is so public, I needed to take time out," she continued. "The past few months haven't been easy for me, but there is also something else I would like to address."

Before sharing she had a miscarriage, Andersson underscored that she is "very transparent about taboo subjects" and likes to "shed light on things that are often not spoken about and especially trauma I have experienced myself."

"I found out I was pregnant - and I then soon after miscarried," she wrote. "It pains me to talk about this in detail right now due to what happened to Consy.. but I want you all to know that miscarriage doesn't discriminate and it can happen to anyone. Even when you think you have gone through enough."

Andersson gave birth to a baby girl seven weeks premature in December 2018. In January 2019, she shared the devastating news that her daughter Consy had died.

"I'll be fine - my strength never ceases to amaze me sometimes but I felt that I needed to share this with you all as I've never been one to hold anything back - especially when I know it can help someone else," Andersson concluded her Sunday Instagram post.

On Wednesday, she shared another post on Instagram, saying that sharing her story had made her "realise how common miscarriages are & how many women it affects."

"I'm overwhelmed with the amount of messages, and stories that I've been sent," she wrote in the caption. "My heart truly cries for those that have experienced it too. I still don't have enough in me to go into detail but once I'm ready I'll talk. The feeling of being pregnant has brought back so many emotions in a different way.. emotions I must have buried."

Earlier this month, Andersson shared a photo of Consy on Instagram after visiting her daughter's grave.

"I'm in such deep thought today after visiting her grave. I can't stop thinking about what her personality would have been like.. I saw this poem and I wanted to share it with those that have endured the same pain..." she wrote, going on to share the rhyme: "'I never got to hold you, or bounce you on my lap. I never got to read to you, or watch you as you nap. You slipped away so quickly, before I said your name. And I want the world to know, I loved you just the same.'"

Former Love Island contestant Malin Andersson is expecting another child - more than two years after the death of her one-month-old daughter Consy.

The reality TV personality's baby girl died in January 2019 after being born seven weeks prematurely.

Andersson revealed in June she was in a relationship with someone she had known for four years, but until recently had remained only friends.

Sharing her news on social media, she said her "heart feels electric" and "this couldn't feel any more right".

She wrote: "My next chapter. My new beginning. My happy ending. My entire universe. All mine. I can't describe to you all how I feel writing this."

Andersson continued: "Everything I've ever wanted, everything I visualised. A solid partner in my life, who has been there in the background - witnessed my life over the past 4 years and has stuck by me as a friend.. and now a lover. This couldn't feel any more right - and we're now bringing a beautiful soul into this world.

"My heart feels electric writing this, my eyes tearing up.. because I can promise you all there was once upon a time I never thought I could experience this. I was wrong. It just wasn't the right time. All the pain I've endured has led to this very moment.. my own little family.

"Mumma - I know you're looking down with bright eyes and a big smile. Baby Consy - protect us from above. This is us now."

Her late daughter Consy was named after Andersson's mother, who died in November 2017 of cancer.

Andersson's post was greeted with messages of support on Instagram.

Fellow Love Island contestant Jessica Hayes said: "I'm so excited ! You deserve this more than anything . Love you so much."

Anna Vakili, another former contestant on the ITV show, said: "This made me soo happy!! You deserve it all congrats Malin."

MALIN Anderson has been kicked off Love Island tonight after shocking scenes that saw her and Terry Walsh having sex in front of their housemates in the middle of the day.

The Love Islanders were left in complete shock when it was revealed she'd be packing her bikinis and leaving the villa.

Liana, Tina and Malin were the three girls with the lowest votes.

After the news was announced, Malin and Terry shared an emotional kiss as she started crying.

She said: "F**k, I'm going home."

He said: "I'm not going to stay here babe am I? I'm coming with you. Don't get upset, don't be stupid."

Liana couldn't believe her luck that she was staying in the house.

She said: "I'm really speechless, I thought it was going to be me."

Tina agreed saying; "I can't believe we stayed over Malin. I'm actually shocked."

While her housemates were surprised at her departure, some viewers weren't sorry to see her go.

One Twitter user wrote: "Malin and her snakey movements have come to an end #LoveIsland."

Another added: "The only vote that matters has been done! Malin has been voted 'OUT' thanks to the British public. What a result! #LoveIsland."

Others wondered if Terry would stay or leave the show with Malin.

"Will Terry stay in the villa or go home with his girl... #LoveIsland #decisions."

"I bet Terry stays the guy wants that money...who wouldn't tbh. But he won't win so he may as well and get them mag deals #LoveIsland."

Earlier in the night, viewers were shocked when the Islanders sat around the bedroom watching Malin and Terry have sex.

The couple decided to get down and dirty under the sheets in the middle of the day while having a chat with the other contestants.

Shocked by their outrageous behaviour, the others decided to stick around and watch them getting it on.

They even started cheering them on and encouraging them at one point as they humped under the covers.

Viewers were not impressed with their shocking actions with one fan writing on Twitter: "I can't handle these two on Love Island having sex with everyone watching!"

Another said: "Find it hilarious how everybody loves watching each other have sex on Love Island."
