But the ride, which has been noted for knocking out those who ride it in the past, was too much for the young man - and he fainted four times.

In the video, it's shown as less than three seconds before the boy passes out in the park in Mexico, reports La Republica .

Although it's unknown exactly what age Daniel is, the companies which operate rides like these has been criticised as campaigners believe that minors should be banned from the ride.

It may also cause your heartbeat to slow down or pause for a few seconds, resulting a temporary interruption to the brain's blood supply.

A video showing a nine-year-old girl passing out multiple times on a carnival ride in the Gold Coast has been viewed by millions online.

Dad AJ Barrett shared the footage to his TikTok page, showing he and his daughter Molly riding the infamous slingshot while on holiday in Queensland.

In the clip you can see the young girl passing out twice during the frightening minute-long ride, each time for a few seconds before coming back into consciousness.

Captioned "Miss 9yr old wanted so bad to ride the slingshot Gold Coast QLD," the clip starts off by showing the dad and daughter strapped in before the ride takes off.

Dad AJ asks Molly if she is ready for the ride to which she replies, "Yep."

After waiting for 20 seconds or so the ride finally takes off, launching the pair high 90m into the air at a speed of 180 km/h.

The launch sees Molly immediately start to scream and as the pair then travel back down, she goes completely quiet passing out for five seconds mid ride.

Dad AJ has no idea what has happened in the midst of it all, and Molly eventually regains consciousness and goes back to screaming.

Just ten seconds later the nine-year-old passes out again for a few seconds, and as the ride begins to come to an end she eventually calms her screams.

"You're mad! That's it, no more rides," dad AJ says to his daughter as they get ready to get off the ride and he asks her if she is okay.

Commenting on the post, Molly's dad said he had no idea she had passed out while they were on the ride. And although it looked terrifying, he and his wife alongside Molly have been laughing at the footage since receiving it.

Users however took to the video to show their concern over what happened to the girl.

"The fact that she passed out two times mid ride," one wrote.

Another asked, "How was she tall enough for it?"

According to Better Health VIC, "Fainting is a brief episode of unconsciousness caused by a sudden drop in blood pressure."

The cause of this sudden drop can either be a change in the blood vessels or a person's heartbeat - which can happen during an experience such as riding a slingshot or roller coaster.
