In The USA, a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor of Applied Science oriented to engineering have a duration of about four or five years.

The majority of Master's Degrees in Mechanical Engineering programs require a Bachelor's Degree and provide further study of Mathematics and Physics. They usually last around two years.
