Just head to the main entrance of the Rosemary & Thyme and you’ll bump into Zoltan. A couple of thugs are arguing with Zoltan. It turns out that Zoltan collects rare Gwent cards and then turns them for profit. He is in need of three cards to pay off a debt to the King of Beggars. Zoltan knows a guy that should have all three. Head down the street to find Zed’s house.

Knocking on Zed’s door is fruitless, but it sounds like he is in trouble. Climb the two ladders to the right of Zed’s front door. Hop across the roof and go inside Zed’s house to find a dead Zed. Go down the stairs and kill the two bandits that are raiding Zed’s home. When they die, loot their bodies for one of the cards you need. Zed’s ledger should be nearby as well. Use Aard on the board beneath the stairs to reveal a secret chest with the ledger. Take the card and ledger to Zoltan.

The ledger reveals who the other two cards were sold to. Zoltan can’t go see Ravik because of some argument. He’ll meet you at the other collector’s house. Go take care of Ravik before seeing Caesar.

Ravik is hiding away in the basement of a local inn to play Gwent. Head inside and go down the stairs to find two thugs threatening him. You may either play a game of Gwent with Ravik’s life on the line or let them kill him. If you win the game of Gwent, kill the thugs and convince Ravik to give you the rare card. If you lose or let them kill him, Ravik will die and you have to kill the thugs to get the card. With the rare card in hand, go meet Zoltan at Caesar’s house.

Zoltan has come up with a plan to nab the card right out from under Caesar. Turns out that Caesar is a big fisherman (fisherdwarf?). The three of you will head inside to drink and talk about fishing. Play along with the conversation until Zoltan asks you to go upstairs and get some more drink. Take the cue and go look for the card. Use your Witcher Senses to interact with the knife on the dresser. This will open a secret drawer with a triangle-shaped key. Take the key over to the closest bookcase and interact with the triangle keyhole.

One bookcase slides over to reveal a secret room. Go inside to find a Nifgaardian museum. You can check out each item if you wish. The card you are looking for is the back left display. Grab the Jade Statue on the shelf near the door. You can take this to Triss later for the side quest “The Soldier Statuette.”

With the statue and card in hand, go back down to the dwarves to make your exit. Right before you leave, a couple of Cleaver’s hench-dwarves bust in to take care of Caesar. You may either fight them off or just leave Caesar to his fate. Do as you wish and be on your way. It’s time to sell these cards to Zoltan’s buyer.

Walk with Zoltan to the shady alley where the deal will go down. When you arrive, it seems that Zoltan’s buyer has met an unfortunate fate and Duke, a thug from the beginning of the quest, is responsible. He wants the cards and is prepared to kill for them. Zoltan will handle the bandits while you chase Duke down. This chase involves a lot of ladders. Run after the fiend. You’ll climb up, run, and then climb down into the sewers. The chase is pretty straight forward. In the sewers, follow the openings in the grates and you will come across a couple of drowners. Take care of them and blast the weak wall will Aard. On the other side is a wounded Duke. You may either kill him or leave him to bleed out.

The scene will cut back to the alley where Zoltan is. Since Zoltan has the coin he needs to pay his debt from Duke, he leaves your choice of reward up to you. Either the three rare cards or split the gold (350 crowns). It is wise to take the three cards to help with the side quest “Collect ‘em All!” Once you decide a reward, the quest will end.
