Blue and yellow light on litter robot

Litter-Robot: 8 Hour Sleep Mode Solid Yellow and Blue Lights

8 Hour Sleep Mode allows you to deactivate the cat sensor for 8 hours so the Robot will not cycle automatically. Sleep Mode is useful for Litter-Robots located in bedrooms or areas where you may not want the Robot to cycle for a period of 8 hours, whilst sleeping.

The 8 hour period is repeated every 24 hours; the start is determined by the time the mode is initially set. It will repeat until it is deactivated or turned off again.

To enter Sleep Mode, at the desired time, press and hold the Cycle button until the yellow light turns on (in addition to the blue standby light). This takes  between 3-5 seconds. Both the yellow and blue light will be on together, not flashing, during the active 8 hours, indicating the Robot is in 8 Hour Sleep Mode. When the 8 hour period ends, the Robot will automatically run a clean cycle. Once the globe has returned to the Home position, only the blue light will be on.

When the 8 hour sleep time starts again automatically, both the yellow and blue light will be on again. It will repeat every 24 hours until sleep mode is deactivated or turned off again.

To exit Sleep Mode, press and hold the Cycle button until the yellow light turns off. Or, if only the blue light is on because you are not within the 8 hour sleep period, the yellow light will flash to indicate you have exited this mode.

Hi. I just cleaned my litter robot. After carefully wiping all sensor with a dry microfiber towel and gently reassembling everything, the yellow light is rapidly blinking. I tried deassembling and rewiping everything but to no avail.

Anyone had that problem or can help ?

Edit: the solution for me was the shove a folded piece of foil between the contact pieces of the sensor so contact is always established. My cats are smart enough not to go in the box when it’s moving and I’m not worried about it. No more issues with the box in a year.

Why are the blue and yellow lights on my Litter

To enter Sleep Mode, at the desired time, press and hold the Cycle button until the yellow light turns on (in addition to the blue standby light). This takes between 3-5 seconds. Both the yellow and blue light will be on together, not flashing, during the active 8 hours, indicating the Robot is in 8 Hour Sleep Mode.

What do the lights on the Litter

Yellow Round Robin Light Bar: Robot is performing a clean or empty cycle. Yellow Ping Pong Light Bar: Cycle interrupted by the anti-pinch safety feature. Red Light Bar: Cat detected and wait time countdown initiated. Red Light Bar Flashing: Cat detected in the robot for more than 30 minutes.

What does flashing blue on Litter

If the blue light on your Litter-Robot is flashing, it means your drawer is full and needs to be changed.

How do you get Litter

To exit Sleep Mode, press and hold the Cycle button until the yellow light turns off. Or, if only the blue light is on because you are not within the 8-hour sleep period, the yellow light will flash to indicate you have exited this mode.
