After Karl Urban hinted to Variety in March that he expects season 4 will be filming through the end of 2022, Amazon officially announced that the series had been renewed for a fourth instalment on June 10th. On top of season 4 of the main series, the wider Boys universe is expanding as well with a number of spin-offs. The first of which was The Boys Presents: Diabolical, an animated anthology series which launched back in March 2022. And the latter is slated to be The Boys Presents: Varsity, which Eric Kripke revealed will be based on the G-Men team mentioned back in season 1 of The Boys who are a parody of Marvel’s X-Men. After first being announced in September 2020, filming on the series began at the University of Toronto in May 2022 and is expected to run until October. The Boys Season 3 is getting a weekly release, which means you’ll want to know when the finale is. That means knowing how many episodes are in the season. Just like the second season, The Boys Season 3 is getting a hybrid release. The first three episodes are on Prime Video on Friday, June 3. After that, there will be one episode released per week until the finale. This is annoying for those who prefer to binge-watch. However, it is better for the series as a whole.
