So, you have to complete basically everything else before you can enter. I mean, finding the entrance is one thing, but getting the two guys guarding it to move is a different story. Show  To get to Lake Acuity in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl or BDSP, the first order of business is to get to Snowpoint City. We cover that in our How to Get to Snowpoint City guide, but basically, you first need to get the Strength Hidden Move and Defog as well. Then, head to either Eterna City or Celestic Town and proceed into Mt. Coronet. Once in the bowels of the mountain, head west and then north until you eventually exit onto Route 216. Follow this new road all the way till the end. To the east, you’ll find Route 217 leading into Snowpoint, while continuing north takes you to the entrance to Lake Acuity, but there are two Team Galactic members blocking it. So, to get to Lake Acuity in Pokemon BDSP or Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, you need to beat Candice, the seventh gym leader, and earn your seventh badge. You can then backtrack to the same place, as shown in the screenshot above, and the two guys should be gone. You can then enter the area of Lake Acuity and, well, see what there is to see. No unnecessary spoilers here. But, yeah, those are the steps that you have to follow to finally reach Lake Acuity. By the way, after you beat Candice, go and find her grandma in Celestic Town. It will help you unlock the National Dex. There are multiple areas in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. One of those areas is the Lake Acuity and Snowpoint Gym. Below is a guide on how you can reach Lake Acuity and Snowpoint City. Get the Strength Hidden Move firstBefore going to the Snowpoint Gym, we need the Strength ability first. Go to the Solaceon Town and head to the Lost Tower. Climb up until you reach the top floor or 5th floor. There are two NPCs here and you need to talk to the NPC on the left. He will give you the Strength Hidden Move. How to Reach the Snowpoint CityGo to Eterna City first and keep going to the right until you reach Mount Coronet. Use Rock Smash on the rock and Strength on the second rock you encounter. Go up and move the boulders blocking your way using Strength. Go down the staircase and use Defog in the next area. There is a Stardust here that you can get by breaking the boulder. Keep going north until you get outside the cave and reach Route 216. Follow the route to the left until you reach Route 217, go north until you reach the Lakefront. Keep going right until you reach Snowpoint City. How do you get to Lake Acuity cave?Head to Alabaster Icelands and to Lake Acuity in the northern part. Here you'll learn that the Pokemon Uxie guards it. Once again, your Arc Phone will beep and the entrance to Acuity Cavern will be revealed. Go inside to be met with an Alpha Zoroark that you'll need to fight.
How do you get to Snowpoint City in shining pearl?To get to Snowpoint City, we have to take a group of routes we've never encountered before which are Route 216 and Route 217. To get there, however, you have to head to Route 211 and to Mt. Coronet (Route 211 Entrance). Fly to Celestic Town and exit west out of the town.
