Thanks. @ianknight2000 your season pass wont expire. Not sure why you think it would. season pass content is related to when the associated content release, not when you use it, so if you have access to the content at some point, you always keep this access.

Assassins Creed Origins is a brilliant game and a hell of an addition to Xbox Game Pass. It runs well on older hardware but shines on the new new. Both visually and control wise itll be tough to ever go back to 30 frames per second after seeing how much better this game is as an experience on a Series console.

I'd say the expansions were worth it. The Hidden Ones should actually be a must-play, considering it's basically an epilogue to the story from the main game and shows the early beginnings of the brotherhood.

The Curse of the Pharaoh doesn't really add a whole lot to the main plot, but it gives you a massive map to explore, not to mention introduces some mainstays in Ancient Egyptian lore (valley of the kings, King Tut, afterlife, etc). Definitely worth playing.

You get 2 short missions, 2 outfits pack and 2 dlcs with the gold edition

The first 4 doesnt really worth it if you dont plan to be a completionist (can just watch youtube on the Secrets of the First Pyramids and Ambushed at Sea mission)

But both the Hidden Ones and Curse of the Pharaohs dlcs add expansion to the main game.

We don't quite know yet since the last story dlc isn't out yet, but honestly so far the pass doesn't seem to be worth the asking price. Someone posted a price breakdown not long ago, but I'm too lazy to find it.

The content is good so far, don't get me wrong, but doesn't seem too save much money, especially if you're not wanting the cosmetics.

There are better values with season passes, even by Ubisoft standards. The upcoming Far Cry 5 season pass seems like a prime example of this. Far Cry 3 is included in the pass, along with 3 themed DLC ( zombie, Vietnam, and Mars).

For a while the instacharging sword (Vox Populi) was a nice extra from the Season Pass. (Now, with the Hidden Ones expansion you can acquire an instacharging axe (Tooth of Sobek).) Also, can't honestly say that the two extra missions are long enough to justify the extra value of the season pass. As for the horus and centurion pack cosmetics, I guess use your best judgment.

Isn't the Gold only a little bit more than the standard edition right now? I bought the gold edition on Black Friday for 70 bucks and I've felt that it was worth it.

You can buy the DLC separately, but the first one costs $10 and the second is $20. I feel like you would be best getting the Gold edition since it's currently on sale, you'll pay less that way overall.

The price of what you’d pay for all the season pass stuff is is worth it. If you really don’t care about extra content then don’t get the pass.

If you're only interested in the story DLCs, just buy those. They're altogether cheaper than the pass.

A package of 500 Helix Credits and an exclusive rare weapon: the Calamity Blade. Available at the launch of the game. This addition is valued at $7.50 USD.

What it doesn't contain
The Deluxe edition content for the game (Addon sold for $10 USD). The Deluxe Pack includes the Ambush at Sea mission, the Desert Cobra pack (1 outfit, 2 legendary weapons, 1 legendary shield and 1 mount), and 3 Ability points. The Deluxe version of the game is also sold for $10 USD more than the Standard version of the game. Where some people are upset is that if you purchase the Gold Edition, you get everything with a $10 USD savings for the Deluxe content. That savings is not carried over for those that decide to purchase the season pass later after already owning the Standard or Deluxe editions of the game.

Conculsion
If you buy the season pass you save a grand total of $11.50 USD for the content if you bought it seperately. And that is only worth it if you want the outfits, weapons, and mounts that come in the packs. Otherwise Purchase the two DLCs seperately because there is no real bonus for purchasing it early if you do not want it all. That said, both DLCs were great and should provide you with 50 hours of game time for 100% clears. Enjoy!

Alongside all the free updates and quests that Ubisoft has been adding since launch, it's hard not to feel as though you're getting your money's worth. The bottom line is that if you like playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, then you're going to enjoy what the season pass has to offer.
