Where is the Irish Dance Nationals 2024?Glasgow will host the prestigious World Irish Dancing Championships for a record sixth time when the colourful event returns to the city in 2024. Widely regarded as the Olympics of Irish dance, the 'Worlds' is the largest and most coveted Irish dancing contest on the global circuit and has run for almost 50 years.
How do you qualify for the North American Irish Dance Championship?Generally, you qualify to compete in the North American Nationals if: You are an Open Championship dancer. You are U8 or U9 and have been asked by Elaine to attend the nationals (teacher's discretion). You qualified at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Oireachtas.
What is Naidc?The North American Irish Dance Championships (NAIDC) is held annually in North America over the first week of July and is hosted on a rotational basis by each region.
