Gym rat badge 2K22 current gen Reddit

I can 100% confirm that on 2K22 CURRENT GEN you only have to play until your a starter to get gym rat badge.

Criteria:

• Play until you are a starter (play your first game as a starter)

• once you start on your team you can sim to the playoffs

• play every single playoff game (you CAN sim at half if up by 25 or more)

• win nba championship (you don’t have to go 16-0 in playoffs either, I lost a couple of games)

Side note: It will pop up in the bottom left that you unlocked gym rat but if you have already done your Gatorade drills for the week it keeps that boost applied until the timer runs out.

tldr: play until you are a starter and sim season, play all playoff games.

So I’ve played 40 regular season games, simulated the rest, played every single finals game, won the championship. And I still don’t have gym rat. Can’t talk to Tee, Heather is missing from lobby, can anyone help explain to me what’s going on?

For everyone that lost their Gym Rat quest and already won a championship in Season 1 Can I sim EVERY game in my second NBA season, win the championship (again) and get Gym Rat? Or do I have to play a certain amount of games?

I just need to know before I sim 82 games lol

You don’t need to play any regular seasons games on current gen. Win the championship, that’s it.

Source - I have gym rat after simming regular season.

people did not read the question. He already played his first season and did win the championship but did not get the badge because the quest was bugged/disappeared.
In this case, now that the quest is back, he should only need to win the championship again to get the badge. I would guess he already played the required number of games, if there are any, because the quest only says win the chip.

I actually played the whole season and won the playoffs, still never got gym rat🤦‍♂️idk what’s wrong with 2k this year

Does gym rat also increase your overall rating?

No, it only increases your physical attributes permanently by +4 (speed, acceleration, strength, vertical)

I don`t see new posts on this topic, but i would like to share with you information i got.

to get gym rat badge you need to play non simulated 36 regular season games (games where you are up by 25+ and sim out with vc count tworads 36 games) and win championship.

My friend u/flips89 and i started first biulds with 50 games, then 43, 42, 40, 38 and now 36 non simulated games played + won championship and we got on every biuld gym rat badge.

I hope it helps somebody not to waste too much time :)

Does anyone know how to fix the gym rat badge I have hit level forty and don’t have the badge on any of my players and it won’t let me talk to the guy in the Gatorade facility
