The holidays are a time for families and fun and there’s no better place to celebrate with your favorite people than in Ocean City Maryland!  If you love Christmas at the beach, then check out the Winterfest of Lights.  You will find lots of Christmas themed lights including Santa catching a white marlin!  You can even visit Santa and drink hot chocolate in the tent at Northside Park.

New Year’s Eve (and day) in Ocean City and Assateague

Ocean City pulls out all the stops for New Year’s Eve.  Fireworks start promptly at midnight at Northside Park which is also the location for Winterfest of Lights.

Many hotels and restaurants have New Year’s specials as well.  Check out all the options for New Year’s 2022 in the articles at the bottom of this page.  If you love the beach and wild ponies, then head over to Assateague State Park for a nature walk on the beach with a volunteer.  You will learn a lot and start 2022 off right with some exercise and fresh air.

The Original Greene Turtle will be open New Years Eve and New Years Day.

Billy’s Sub Shop is always open New Years Eve and New Years Day at 140th Street from 11am – 11pm.

The Town of Ocean City will be hosting a New Year’s Eve Fireworks Show at Northside Park to celebrate the beginning of 2022 and the 29th Annual Winterfest of Lights. The fireworks display, which will begin promptly at midnight, will be accompanied by live entertainment, warm hot chocolate, and the opportunity to experience the Winterfest of Lights.

With more than one million holiday lights sparkling throughout Northside Park, the Winterfest of Lights New Year’s Eve Fireworks Show will be a great way to ring in the New Year.

There’s no better place to celebrate the New Year than Ocean City, Maryland! The town is ramping up for tons of exciting events and activities to say goodbye to 2021 and welcome 2022. Stay in town for a New Year’s celebration to remember at your favorite OCMD hotel.

Seacrets - New Year’s Eve Bash

Party all night at Seacrets with festivities from 4 PM to 4 AM. With 5 bands and 3 DJ’s ring in the New Year with a three-course dinner and live entertainment all night long. Enjoy a complimentary champagne toast and balloon drop at midnight! Dinner reservations are available here. Seacrets does not sell tickets for New Year's Eve in advance and will have a $40 cover charge starting at 5 PM.

Beach Barrels - NYE Party with Scrapple

The ticket includes an open bar from 9 PM to 12:30 AM, a champagne toast, party favors, and lite fare catered by Primo Hoagies. $50 general admission, $60 per seat to reserve a table in full. 

Fager’s Island - New Year’s Eve on the Island

Bring in 2022 on the Island with the party of the year starting at 7 PM. Your ticket includes admission, a 2022 VIP card, party favors, and a midnight champagne toast. There is no seating. Live music will be performed by SHAKE THE ROOM on stage at 10 PM and DJ ROBCEE on the deck at 9 PM.

45th Street Taphouse Bar & Grille - New Year’s Eve Celebration

Celebrate the new year on the bay at Taphouse Bar & Grille. There will be chef special 3-course dinner selections, as well as Happy Hour pricing and $3 craft beers. Live music will be by Wes Davis from 10 PM to 1 AM, featuring a champagne toast at midnight. 

The Original Greene Turtle - New Year's Eve with DJ WIZ

Ring in the New Year with all your loved ones at The Original Greene Turtle and party with DJ Wiz! The late-night menu will be available until 1 AM and there will be a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. 

Cowboy Coast - New Year’s Eve Party

Skye Bar - Live Performance by Opposite Directions

On New Year’s Eve, Skye Bar is accepting dinner reservations at 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM. Acoustic rock duo Opposite Directions will be performing from 4 PM to 8 PM and there will be NO cover charge all night. Stick around for a champagne toast at midnight!

Bourbon Street on the Beach - New Year’s Eve Menu

Crawl Street Tavern - NYE Celebration

Celebrate New Year's Eve at the Crawl Street Tavern and the Cork Bar in downtown Ocean City.  The Tavern will be serving some of the best bar food with both kitchens open late. No cover charge and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.
